Atos Research & Innovation is focused on the realisation of international research projects since 1989 on e-health, software and services, disaster management, security, geo-positioning, earth observation, grid and cloud technology, e-tourism, e-inclusion, and e-government.
Role in the project
Atos will lead WP3, “Transport use case” with the collaboration of TMB, and the WP9 “Outreach and community building”.
Interest in project results
Atos is a key player in transport research and security in transport and supply chain. With its participation in SECONOMICS, Atos will enforce this position and will exploit results between their public transport customers both in national and international level.

Alicia García currently holds the position of Industry Market Manager for Atos Research & Innovation (ARI) in Atos Origin. She has been working in the company for 13 years. Alicia has a Master Degree in Economics, specialised in Finance. She started to work as a programmer and then managing ERP tools projects for SMEs. Alicia is in charge of four industry sectors such as eTourism, Innovation, Transport & Manufacturing and Aeronautics & Construction and she is responsible for making the results of related projects to these sectors visible to the real market, being the link with the business development side of ARI. She has been involved in several EU projects since 2000 from IP to CSAs and related to other domains like eGovernment, SMEs ecosystems, security and market validation. She has expertise since the preparation of the proposal to the end of the project and further deployment of R&D results.
