The Annual Conference of the European Society for Criminology has accepted Daniela Gawrecká's paper entitled "Security vs. Privacy: Czech and Foreign Media Perceptions of CCTV Cameras".

This paper was prepared under the auspices of the Institute of Sociology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and within the framework of the SECONOMICS project.

This year, the main subject of the conference is “Criminology of Europe: Inspiration by Diversity”. The conference will take place on 10-13th September 2014 in Prague (Czech Republic), and the paper will be presented within Panel P9-23: Punitivity and Security.
